Howler - ‘This One’s Different’
Howler are the latest assortment of guitar-botherers to take part in the splendid Bands in Transit series.
Take a look at the rest of the series here and notice that bands are literally playing in a Transit van, hence why it’s called Bands in Transit, do you see?
The Howler write-up on the Bands in Transit site says:
As well as tinges of Anglophilia, there’s an aloof American snottiness running through it - an arc that runs from Sun Records to The Count Five to The Ramones to The Strokes and onwards
– which rather conjures up repulsive mental images associated with “arcs of snot.” But don’t let that detract from the music.
