NEW ARCTIC MONKEYS VIDEO FOR SNAP OUT OF IT

The brand new video for this cut from AM consists of actress Stephanie Sigman in a house in LA, variously crying, cooking steak, dancing, getting undressed and watching grainy video footage of the band in the studio.

THE KILLS ANNOUNCE NEW TOUR WITH ARCTIC MONKEYS, QOTSA, JACK WHITE AND THE BLACK KEYS

The Kills have announced a new tour. The band’s jaunt will take in support slots for Arctic Monkeys, Queens of the Stone Age, Jack White and the Black Keys. (Not all on the same bill, sorry). No UK dates have been announced, but you could hope over to Dublin. Click here to watch a live session The Kills did for the Guardian, and discussion on how they wrote Baby Says.

The Official Charts has just revealed that the Arctic Monkeys sold a whopping 157,000 copies of their new album AM this week, helping it to debut atop the UK chart. That makes them the first independently-signed act to see their first five albums debut at Number 1 in British chart history. CS
